In Webinar 7, Roger Tomlinson will teach you about customer relationship management systems – often called CRM. This final AmbITion Scotland webinar will show you how you can gather better data about your customers and put it to use!

CRM is key to:

  • Bringing new people in
  • Keeping your current customers happy
  • Bringing back the participants who’ve fallen out of touch with you

Plus CRM can:

  • Cut your marketing costs
  • Help you target the right message to the right people
  • Support your client service routine

On top of that CRM can increase your engagement, participation and profitability while cutting down on your operational costs.

You don’t have to sell tickets to learn more about your customers. Come along and learn more about making the most out of the databases you already have. Get the information you need to really get to know your customers.

Speaker: Roger Tomlinson

Roger is an independent management and marketing consultant, working in the arts and entertainment sector internationally. Regarded as one of the world’s leading experts on integrated solutions and developing on-line technologies for ticketing and marketing, he is a keynote speaker at conferences in Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand. He is particularly interested in the way digital technologies are changing the ways people can relate to arts organisations and how they can develop audiences. He produces the www.TheTicketingInstitute.com (not yet live) information website and, following on from work with the AMA he produces his blog website www.brandinyourhand.ning.com.

His books include FULL HOUSE Turning Data Into Audiences, BOXING CLEVER, DEVELOPING AND MANAGING A WEB SITE and the BOX OFFICE MARKETING GUIDES, and JobWatch (about equal opportunities recruitment), and the Data Protection Guide, both published by the AMA.

He has completed major studies on the integration of ticketing across arts and entertainment organisations and regularly manages the procurement process for customer-facing technologies. He works with arts organisations on the development of effective websites and on optimising websites and transaction process flows to improve on-line sales and audience development.

What’s it about?

Bringing the best minds in digital innovation to your doorstep, the Amb:IT:ion Scotland webinars:

  • are masterclasses - about thinking closely around one strategic digital opportunity
  • provide practical how-to information to take away
  • provide good and bad case studies to give you ideas of how you might successfully implement digital developments
  • are about networking and sharing with peers on the same learning path as you
  • can be attended in person, or can be participated live online, or can be viewed online on demand later.
What will I learn?

Some of the basics that you will need to decide whether or not certain digital developments are worth investing in by you/your organisation.

There are a limited number of places at the live event, but we will live video stream the session and make it available on-demand afterwards.
